Alain Charette joined Kangaroo.TV early on to manage business strategy and lead negotiation and trials with potential sports partners around the world. Also an electrical engineer, Alain oversees all aspects of business affairs including business development, business modeling, strategic growth and program management. Most recently, Alain was key in the development of the five-year license and supply agreement with Sprint Nextel for NASCAR.
Alain’s extensive business management experience has helped ensure that Kangaroo Media stays in the driver’s seat. Before joining Kangaroo Media, Alain founded several companies specializing in mission critical systems such as aerospace, power plant and grid automation, and train control.
Alain spent more than 15 years in the electrical generation and transmission asset automation business. He also contributed to the start up and growth of many high-tech companies active in various sectors of the economy. With a deep understanding of the dynamics of rapidly evolving markets and global competition and a total of 28 years of hands-on IT, B2B and global entrepreneurship, Alain and the Kangaroo.TV team continue to work diligently to ensure the ongoing strategic and financial growth of the company.
Alain graduated Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal in 1978 and currently lives in Saint-Jerome Quebec with Ginette, his wife of 27 years.
