I have my own domain name. If I host my site with you, can you manage the domain for me?

Yes, if you already have your own domain, we’ll manage the domain for you and direct traffic to your space on our servers. Please note that we are not a domain registrar: rather, we manage the technical aspects of your domain, known as DNS, on our servers. This allows you to keep your current domain registrar. We provide you with the DNS parameters for your account (i.e. the IP addresses), which includes the following:

  • HTTP ( www )
  • POP (POP3)
  • FTP

What happens if I exceed my disk space quota?

If you exceed your allotted disk space, you won’t be able to upload additional files but otherwise your account will function normally. To be able to upload additional files, you can either delete unnecessary ones in order to make room or upgrade to a package with more disk space.

Can I pay on a monthly basis?

No. By offering only quarterly and annual pre-paid packages, we are able to keep our prices competitive through reduced administrative costs. You can, however, pay in two equal installments for annual packages: one will be deposited upon reception and the second 30 days later.

If I’m late with my renewal payment, will you delete my account?

No. We generally accord our clients a two-week period of grace after the 30-day deadline specified on the renewal invoice. After that, we suspend overdue accounts; however, files and data are conserved for an indefinite period. If we judge that there is no chance of receiving a renewal payment on an overdue account that has been suspended, we would then delete it and all associated files and data would be lost..

My computer runs on Windows or Mac and your servers run on Linux: will that make it problematic for me to host my site with you?

There’s no problem at all: your workstation is entirely independent from the functioning of our servers. All you have do is transfer your website files from your computer to your space on our servers and your site will be displayed on others’ computers much like it looks locally on your own computer. Most hosting companies use the Linux operating system for their servers, due to its stability and reliability. All you need is an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program to transfer your website files. Do you have a reseller program that I can participate in?

At the moment, we do not offer a specific program for resellers. We expect to do so in the future, so if that interests you, please leave us your contact information.

Do you host sites that use content management systems (CMS) such as PHPNUKE or XOOPS?

No. PHP-based CMS systems like PHPNUKE and XOOPS tend to monopolize server system resources and are better hosted on a dedicated server, whereas we offer shared server space.
